RESUMEN

Las enfermedades víricas son el grupo de enfermedades infecciosas más frecuentes en la infancia, siendo su sintomatología cutánea muy frecuente. Conviene también recordar que en los primeros años de vida existe una especial predisposición para este tipo de infecciones en relación a la inmadurez inmunológica, tanto de tipo humoral como celular. Las lesiones cutáneas pueden estar producidas por el propio virus, en las que es posible aislarlo o, por el contrario, la clínica cutánea es el resultado de la interacción con el sistema inmune, como sería el caso de la mayoría de enfermedades exantemáticas. Debemos tener en cuenta igualmente, que las lesiones de tipo nodular o vesiculadas son las que pueden contener al virus y ser potencialmente contagiosas. En este artículo de revisión, nos ocuparemos de las enfermedades víricas no exantemáticas.



ABSTRACT

The viral diseases are the group of more frequent infectious diseases in the childhood, being their very frequent cutaneous symptomatology. It also agrees to remember that in the first years of life a special predisposition for this type of infections in relation to the immunological immaturity exists, as much of humoral type as cellular. The cutaneous injuries can be produced by the own virus, in which it is possible to isolate it, or on the contrary, the cutaneous clinic is the result of the interaction with the immune system, as it would be the case of most of exanthematous diseases. We must also consider that the injuries of type to nodular or vesiculated, are those that they can contain to the potentially contagious virus and being. In this article of revision we will take care of non exanthematous viral diseases.
